Representative-Elect Tom Tiffany (R-Little Rice) today announced the committees he has been assigned to for the upcoming legislative session. Tiffany will serve as the Vice-Chairman of the Assembly Forestry Committee and as a member of the Assembly Tourism, Recreation and State Properties Committee and Assembly Natural Resources Committee.
“I’m very happy with my committee assignments,” said Tiffany. “I believe they put me in a good position to help shape policy decisions that will directly affect the lives of people in the Northwoods.”
Tiffany was in Madison Tuesday for meetings with Governor-Elect Scott Walker’s transition team.
“Jobs, are going to be job one, for our new Governor and legislature,” said Tiffany. “We need to get our economy back on track and state spending under control. I look forward to the challenge.”
