A man being sought by two area sheriff’s departments and the Wisconsin Department of Corrections??¢??????¯was located within 24 hours of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department announcement they were seeking tips on his location Thursday.

The LCSD issued a press release with a description of Kyle Scott Lindner, age 20 and originally from the Spirit Fall’s area west of Tomahawk but has been known to frequent southern Price County, and the Merrill area. Lindner was wanted both in Price and Lincoln County after he failed to appear at court hearings for misdemeanor criminal charges including resisting / obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct.

As a result of tips they had received, deputies went to a business in the Town of Merrill just before noon on Friday and located Lindner in the back seat of a vehicle. He provided false information to the Deputies and subsequently resisted when they took him into custody.

??¢??????¯Lindner was brought to the Lincoln County Jail where he will be held on the Lincoln and Price County warrants, along with the probation parole warrant. He will also face a new charge of resisting / obstructing an officer.
