LeRoy A. Racino

LeRoy A. Racino, age 76, of Merrill, died Saturday, December 4, 2010, at Marywood Center, Wausau.
LeRoy was born November 19, 1934, in Milwaukee, son of the late Joseph and Alice (Radonski) Racinowski. He married Geraldine ‘Gerie’ Laffin on September 11, 1965. She survives. LeRoy was an over-the-road truck driver for Schneider Transport. He was very dedicated to his job. LeRoy enjoyed camping, hunting, boating, and taking trips to the casino. He was very meticulous with his lawn and yard work. LeRoy especially enjoyed the time he spent with his grandsons.
Survivors include his wife, Gerie Racino, of Merrill; one daughter, Jacki (Fred) Gruetzmacher, of Merrill; one son, Todd (Gail) Racino, of Merrill; three grandsons, Jonathan, Alex, and Adam; and one sister, Carol Kujawa; of Milwaukee. LeRoy was preceded in death by one sister, Diane Catalano; and one brother-in-law, Richard Kujawa.
The funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 9, 2010, at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. Sister Celine Goessl will officiate. Burial will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery, Town of Maine. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
