A benefit for baby Harlie Pehlke will be held Saturday, Nov. 6, starting at 1 p.m. at Ballyhoos in Merrill.

The event will feature bingo in the afternoon and music by the Polish Cowboys polka band from 1-4 p.m. There will be karaoke, a silent auction and raffles throughout the day. Food and beverages will be served with a donation at the door.

Rock Island Band will take the stage at 8 p.m.

Harlie is the infant daughter of Chad and Jill Pehlke and the sister of Brittney, Kortney, Donna, Megan and Connor.

Harlie was born Aug. 27, 2010, with a rare disorder known as Central Hypoventilation disorder in which the body forgets to breathe and Hirschprungs disease in which the large intestines do not have nerve cells. Both of these diseases do come with a lifetime of health related issues and surgeries. Harlie has been at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield since the end of August.

Many raffle items have been donated by businesses and individuals in the community. Raffle items include a pair of Skybox Packer tickets.

Anyone willing to donate items may contact Tammy at 715-610-1129 or Scott at 715-218-5136.
