911 call leads to discovery of marijuana, pills
A 26- year old Merrill woman is in the Lincoln County Jail and other arrests may be forthcoming after deputies responding to a 911 call??¢??????¯Friday in the Town of Merrill located drugs.
A cell 911 call reported the trouble on North Star Drive at 8:48 a.m. and investigating deputies learned that Abbie J. Mais attacked two women and armed herself during a dispute. When Deputies tried to take Mais into custody she resisted and had to be restrained, during which time she spit on one of the deputies.
Mais was brought to the Lincoln County Jail where she was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct, two counts of battery, resisting / obstructing an officer and a felony charge of expelling bodily fluids on a public safety officer.
Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office are still investigating after a search warrant conducted on the property turned up numerous bags of marijuana and prescription medications.
