Benjamin M. Stahoski, age 17, of Merrill, died Monday, October 4, 2010, in Marathon County, the result of an automobile accident.

Ben was born September 26, 1993, in Wausau, son of Richard M. and Mary K. (Hehling) Stahoski. Ben was currently a junior at Merrill Senior High School, and had been a member of the “Marching Jays” during the 2008 and 2009 school years. He was a confirmed member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Merrill, and could recite all 66 books of the Bible in record time. Ben especially enjoyed his X Box with his friends Tanner and Austin Graap and Nathan Perry.
Ben will be deeply missed and never forgotten by his mother, Mary K. Stahoski and her special friend, Jerry Robinson, both of Merrill; his father, Richard M. Stahoski, Merrill; his sister and brother, Jennifer Seeger and Jeffrey Stahoski, both of Eau Claire; his loving grandmother, Rose Hehling of Merrill; three aunts, Kathy (Bill) Smoker, Stevens Point, Sharon (Mark) Zipperer, Merrill, and Shirley (Fred) Wegener, Brookfield; two uncles David Hehling of Baldwin and Greg Hehling of Merrill; his girl friend and first love, Sarah Lawrence of Hamburg; and many other relatives and friends.
Ben’s funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 8, 2010, at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Merrill. The Rev. James Weiland will officiate. Burial will be in Merrill Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, and after 9:00 A.M. Friday at the church.
