THS swimmers split the difference
The THS swim team ended up in the middle of Thursday’s double dual with Lakeland and Wittenberg. The T-Birds prevailed 108-62 over the Hatchets, but they in turn topped W/B 101-66.
Marlee Kiander captured two individual events-the 100 free in :57.56, and the 100 brea in 1:09.88.
The Hatchets went 2-3 in the 500 free with Amanda Koshak (6:38.61) and Megan White (6:49.27). Other runner-up finishes came from: Hannah Schmidt in the 50 free (:29.60); the 200 free (White, Sami Kleich, Koshak, Kiander, 1:57.49); and the 400 free (Koshak, Schmit, Kelsey Maki, Kleich, 4:26.07).
The 200 medley group of Maki, Kiander, White and Schmit was edged by 3/100ths in 2:08.00.
