Back-to-School Scavenger Hunt at the library
T. B. Scott Library invites children from kindergarten to grade 5 to a Back-to-School Scavenger Hunt on Saturday, Aug. 21, from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
Children may participate any time between 9:30 a.m. and noon by picking up a scavenger hunt sheet at the Youth Services desk on the second floor.
The event is designed to lead families throughout the Youth Services department as a way to acquaint them with the location of age-appropriate books and other materials that are available for checkout.
Those who complete the quick and easy hunt will be eligible for prizes.
While visiting the library, parents are encouraged to obtain library cards for all family members. First library cards are issued free of charge.
