July 31 is the last day that children may return completed Make a Splash reading cards and spin the prize wheel. During the final week participants may chose from any prize box and spin the wheel only to see if they will receive a bonus book as well. (Teen and adult reading programs continue through August.)

The remaining summer library events include:

Monday, Aug. 2, 9:45-10:45 a.m. – Marty Heidner and her cocker spaniel, Snoopy, welcome readers of all abilities to read aloud in the library storyhour room. The last Read to a Dog session will be on August 9.

Wednesday, Aug. 4, 1-2 p.m. – Squirt Gun Trivia for grades 6-12 will take place on the library west lawn. Participants will need to answer trivia questions correctly to avoid being squirted by their peers. Squirt guns will be provided. Pre-registration is encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. In case of bad weather, trivia and board games will be played in the library community room.

For more information, contact the library at 536-7191 or view the calendar at www.tbscottlibrary.org. The library will remain accessible throughout the current road construction.
