Heidi S. (Towne) Lawrence, age 42, of Tomahawk, WI, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Heidi was born in Tomahawk on August 3, 1976, to the late Frank Kuhnke and Mary J. Steinbach. Heidi was a lifelong resident of Tomahawk and graduated from Tomahawk High School in 1995. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She enjoyed playing darts on local leagues with friends, going on walks, crossword puzzles and word searches, and playing bingo. Heidi also loved collectingbald eagle statues and memorabilia. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family, especially her children.
Survivors include her son, Matthew; her daughter, Becca; one brother, Rick (Jennifer) Towne, of Wausau, WI; one sister, Betsy Towne, of Tomahawk; her close aunts and uncles, Judy (Roger) Juedes, of Irma, WI, and Jeff (Patti) Steinbach, of White Lake, WI. Heidi is further survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary; her father, Frank; and her grandparents, Rudolph and LuEllen Steinbach.
Memorial Services for Heidi (Towne) Lawrence will be held on Friday, August 2, 2019, at Grace Lutheran Church, at 4:00 PM. Rev. Mark Ziemer will officiate. The family will receive friends for Visitation from 2:00 PM until the time of Services at 4:00 PM. Private Inurnment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery.
