June 10
At 10:29 a.m., an officer responded to a damage to property complaint. Two vehicles had spun up fresh gravel in a driveway. Investigation is ongoing.

At 7:13 p.m., an officer responded to a criminal damage to property complaint. The caller advised a male party had broken his car window and was lying inside the callers’ vehicle without a shirt on. Contact was made with the suspect and he was arrested for criminal damage to property and a probation violation.

At 6:21 p.m., officers responded to suspicious person complaint. The caller advised there was a male party at a business that was causing problems. The male party had left prior to an officer arriving on scene. The female employee stated the male party was making inappropriate comments towards her. The male party was located at a business next door and he was in violation of his bonds. The male was arrested for three counts of bail jumping.

At 9:36 p.m., officers responded to a call of a disorderly male party who was armed with a firearm. The male party was detained and after an investigation was completed, the male party was arrested for intoxicated possession of a firearm.

June 11
At 8:51 a.m., an officer responded to a theft complaint. The caller advised they had a package stolen off of their porch. They had video footage from across the street showing a female from the apartment building had stolen the package. Contact was made with the female suspect and she was cited for theft.

June 12
At 3:05 p.m. a male party reported a theft of a package from his porch that was delivered by UPS. The package was valued at $1,200. The investigation is ongoing.

June 13
At 12:30 a.m. an officer investigated the report of a theft of a golf cart. The golf cart valued at $3500 was parked in the 100 block of Pine St. when it was taken. The investigation is ongoing.

At 5:53 a.m. a party in the 800 block of East 8th St. reported the theft of a go cart that he had parked behind the residence by the alley. The investigation is ongoing.

June 14
At 12:26 p.m., an officer responded to a theft complaint. The caller had a battery stolen from a dump trailer. Investigation is ongoing.

At 4:17 p.m., officers responded to the office of Probation and Parole to take a male party into custody on a probation violation. He was transported to the jail.

At 9:19 p.m., an officer responded to a theft complaint. The caller had a U-Haul trailer stolen from his business. The trailer was brought back the next day by the unknown suspect and the victim wished to withdraw the complaint.

June 15
At 7:29 p.m., officers responded to a theft complaint. The caller advised two juveniles had stolen the key from their motorcycle and a cell phone. The juveniles were located by the motorcycle owner and they had obtained their property back. Officers made contact with the two male parties and the motorcycle owner did not wish to pursue a criminal case at that time.

June 16
At 4:31 p.m., officers were dispatched to a call of three people who were in the Prairie River after flipping their kayaks. Merrill officers, the Merrill Fire Department and a Lincoln County deputy all responded and assisted with removing all three parties safely from the water.
