Casey Hoffman is the starting catcher for the Merrill varsity baseball team.
This is Hoffman’s junior year of high school and first year on the varsity team. At the Lakeland tournament earlier this season, Hoffman hit his first varsity home run, in a win over Ashland.
In the fall, Hoffman runs cross country for the varsity team and in the winter, he is on the varsity wrestling squad. In his free time, Casey enjoys playing and watching baseball. Son of Mikalie and Brian Hoffman of Merrill, Casey currently has a 3.2 GPA, but does not have any college plans as of now.
