New Medication Drop Box at Tomahawk Pharmacy

Healthy Minds for Lincoln County recently received funding from the Alliance for Wisconsin Youth and Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital to purchase a new permanent prescription drug box for
Lincoln County. This unit will be located at the Tomahawk Pharmacy at 844 N. 4th Street, Tomahawk.
Drop offs are accepted during their normal business hours of Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m-6 p.m. and Saturday 8:30am-12 p.m.
“My number one goal as a pharmacist is to make sure medications are taken safely and appropriately. I am excited to be able to provide another location for the community to properly
dispose of unneeded or expired medications, including controlled substances,” states Tyler Stevenson, PharmD, Tomahawk Pharmacy Manager.
This location is in addition to three that are already available in Lincoln County:
1. Merrill Police Department, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
2. Marshfield Clinic- Merrill, Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm
3. Tomahawk Police Department, available 24/7
All four locations are available for drug take back year round. Safely disposing of unused, unwanted, and expired prescription medications is crucial to prevent substance misuse from happening.
