A program for those grieving during the holidays

While society is emphasizing togetherness, joy and giving thanks, the holidays can stir a wide array of emotions in those who have lost someone important to them – dread, anxiety, sadness, remorse, regret, loneliness and even anger. Everyone is invited to spend an evening exploring how to handle this challenging time of year.

Grief and the Holidays, a free program for those who have experienced the death of a loved one, will be held Tuesday, Dec. 11, 1-2 p.m. The program, presented by Ascension at Home will be held at the T.B. Scott Free Library (community room), 106 W. First St. in Merrill. There is no cost, but pre-registration is appreciated. Refreshments provided.
