The Merrill volleyball held their annual year end award ceremony where many athletes where presented awards for their performance. The Jays had five girls earn Wisconsin Valley All-Conference honors, two of which were also nominated for the All-State team. There was also seven individual awards presented.
The individual award winners are; Ellie Hartson who won Best Server, Kelly Page winning Most Assists, Reese Mrachek won Most Blocks, Kelsie Belfiori won Most Digs, Kaylee Bowe and Megan Schroder both won Best Hitter, Allison Tabor won Most Improved and Kelsie Belfiori took home MVP.
All-conference winners this year are Megan Schroder getting unanimous first team, Kelsie Belfiori who got first team, Kaylee Bowe took home second team and Rylee Mrachek and Elizabeth Iribarren both got honorable mention.
Merrill’s two All-State nominees are Kelsie Belfiori who got first team and Megan Schroder taking home honorable mention. These two will attend the All-State banquet on December 9.
