On Nov. 1, 2 and 3, Merrill High School will be presenting the play “Almost, Maine” at the high school auditorium. Eighteen Merrill students will perform a series of acts that take place in the remote northern town of Almost, Maine. It is set in the winter and you will feel the cold and experience the northern lights.
The play tackles the topics of life, loss and love in a small northern town. You will laugh and might even cry. But no matter what emotions you experience, you’re guaranteed to be impressed by the talent of these 18 students and the characters they portray.
“This is an amazing group of young actors and actresses,” said first-year director Tim Moe. “You won’t want to miss it!”
Performances are at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 1-3. There will also be a matinee for middle school students and seniors on Wednesday, Oct. 31. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students and senior citizens.
