Labor day weekend, 101.9 WDEZ FM Radio of Wausau teamed up with Helene’s Hilltop Orchard to raise over $11,o00 during the orchard’s Sunflower Festival in support of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. With an entry fee of $10 per person, the two day event consisted of wagon and cow train rides, a performance by singer/songwriter Brady Luke along with food and baked goods. Each participant was welcomed to take home a bouquet of sun flowers from the orchard.
