Construction will begin Monday, Sept. 24 on Chestnut Street (East Sixth Street to East Tenth Street) in the city of Merrill.
According to Merrill Public Works Director/City Engineer Rod Akey, the project will include removing existing curb and gutter and existing asphalt; along with installing new sanitary sewer and water mains and laterals. New curb and gutter and asphalt also will be installed.
Access to driveways will be limited. Residents of that area are asked to use off alley parking and side street parking.
