Tomahawk police arrest suspects in multiple burglaries

Tomahawk Police Chief Al Elvins announced today that on Tuesday, Sept. 18, his department responded to a suspicious activity complaint in the 800 block of North Fourth Street in the city of Tomahawk.

The investigation that ensued uncovered four burglaries that had occurred over the weekend. Items taken during these burglaries included approximately 700 miscellaneous collectible coins, power tools, lock boxes and construction material. Most of these items have been recovered, however, several of the items have still not been located.

As a result of this investigation, three adult males were taken into custody on felony burglary, theft, criminal trespass, damage to property, entry into a lock box and possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Chief Elvins stated that these arrests are part of an ongoing investigation and anyone with any information that they feel may be of help in recovering the remaining items is asked to please call the Tomahawk Police Department at 715-453-2121.
