Saturday morning, Fisher’s Bar and Cabin Rental will host their 9th Annual Northwoods ATV/UTV Rally; located at N11209 STH 17, at the intersection of STH 17 and CTH H.
Fisher’s has been owned and operated by Jeremy and Jennifer Fisher since 2008 and they credit Al VanStrydonk of Tomahawk-based Erv’s Sales and Service for the event’s debut in June of 2009.
“Al approached us about starting an event to raise awareness about the sport of ATV and UTV off-roading, and to help out our local ATV clubs. We weren’t really sure what to expect the first year, but we ended up drawing about 75 participants which was great!” Jeremy Fisher said.
Since that inaugural event nine years ago, the rally has grown to include over 500 participants last year.
Saturday’s festivities kick off at 10 a.m. with raffle prizes throughout the day; courtesy of local businesses. Additional activities include the annual poker run, cash raffle and free demo rides of various ATV and UTV machines; courtesy of Erv’s Sales and Service. Poker run cards are available at Fisher’s, or each of the 19 stops spanning from Gleason to Elcho and surrounding areas,

Then Saturday evening, “The Dukes” will return for their fourth year of providing live entertainment.

“We are excited for our ninth annual rally this weekend,” Fisher adds. “We look forward to keeping the rally alive as long as we have support for it. There will be a few local ATV clubs on hand Saturday, serving brats and burgers out in our parking lot. The Pel-Cho Mudd Nutz ATV Club will be in attendance and the Parish Highlanders, we may even have a few more attend. I think the best part of this event every year, is helping out our local clubs and giving back to our local businesses.”
All proceeds will be donated to participating ATV clubs. For more information, Jeremy can be contacted at (715) 351-0029.
