MHS Junior Holden Smith turned in a solid performance in his Bluejay Baseball varsity debut on April 12, going 2 of 4 from the plate with a walk. Before taking the field as the ‘Jays starting left fielder this season, Holden made his Bluejay football varsity debut last fall at the Running Back position.
Aside from sports, Holden is a 2-year member of the MHS FFA (Future Farmers of America) Club. In his free-time he enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as going to movies and spending time in the outdoors; hunting and fishing.
Son of Tom and Angie Smith of Merrill, Holden currently maintains a 3.2 GPA. Despite having one more year of high school ahead of him, Holden already has his post-graduation goals set; intending to attend UW-Stevens Point as a Forestry major.
