Spring is here, it’s time for spring cleaning! The book closet at the library is full and the Friends of the Library need your help – please come to the Spring Book Sale and buy BOOKS, BOOKS, BOOKS, because they are CHEAP! CHEAP! CHEAP! All adult books are 50 cents each, children’s 25 cents.
The sale begins Thursday, April 19, at 5:30 p.m. with Friends night. It’s easy to renew your 2018 Friends’ membership right at the sale; it’s only $5 for an individual and $10 for a family. If you are not yet a Friend of T.B. Scott Library, you can join Thursday evening. Marathon County friends of the library are welcome at this sale; just bring your membership card.
The sale opens to the public Friday, April 20, at 9:30 a.m. in the Community Room at the library. There will be a large selection of both fiction and non-fiction books available, including CDs and DVDs.
The bargains continue on Saturday, April 21, at 9:30 a.m. with bag day – fill a bag of books for just $2. The Friends also have a table outside the Community Room with books that are free.
The Friends of the Library sell books culled from the T.B. Scott Library and generous readers who donate used books. The Friends book sale proceeds support library programs and activities.
