MAPS holds referendum informational evening for Community Conversation participants

Last night, Community Conversation participants joined the Merrill Area Public Schools Board of Education and administrators for a referendum informational evening. There were approximately 35 community residents and staff in attendance.

Following the presentation, participants engaged in a question and answer session. Referendum information was distributed, as the Board and administration value the importance of voters being well informed.

“I was pleased with the positivity of the discussions that took place last night,” said Dr. John Sample, MAPS Superintendent. “Thoughtful questions were asked and genuine concern was shown in the best interest of our future.”

There will be a referendum open house/informational evening open to all district residents on Monday, March 19, at 5:30 p.m. at Merrill High School.
