Wednesday afternoon, the Lincoln County Forestry, Land and Parks Department announced the first county snowmobile trail opening of the season.
As of noon Thursday, the Hiawatha Trail will be open from Tomahawk’s SARA Park to the Lincoln/Oneida County line. The trail is not open to ATV use. All other Lincoln County snowmobile trails will remain closed at this time.
