Irene L. Learman passed away October 6th, 2017. She was born February 13th, 1928. Daughter of the Late Peter and Clara (Anderson) Paulson. She resided on a farm near Stoughton WI and also graduated from there. Irene moved to Milwaukee WI where she worked at Master Padlock Company. She met and married her husband Jerome Ackerman there. They moved to Merrill WI as her parents lived in Gleason WI.
Irene worked at Merrill Manufacturing Company for 27 years, where she also retired. Her husband passed away in 1981. Later in life she married Eugene Learman, who passed away in 1986. She went to work part time at Weinbrenner Shoe Outlet as a sales clerk over 15 years. She loved working in her flower garden, and enjoyed her cat Tyke.
Preceded in death by her brothers Palmer and Julian Paulson of Madison WI and sister Mabel Anderson of Stoughton WI. Survived by daughter Nancy Ackerman and sister-in-law Lola Paulson. Further survived by nieces nephews other relatives and friends. Special friend Jane Raasch who was always there, like a daughter to Irene and Michelle Sirovina who has been a positive light in the family. Irene belonged to Our Savior Church.
Memorial service will be held at later date.
