Bruce Lloyd Grueneberg, age 60, died on September 24, 2017 doing what he loved, driving a tractor.
Bruce was born on April 12, 1957 in Wausau and attended Wausau West High School. He married Debra Krueger on September 20, 1980. He farmed his entire adult life, worked at Little Marco Co-op for 18 years, Vander Geest Dairy, and Wausau Sales.
Bruce had a great passion for Farmall tractors (owning 12 of them), and was happiest when he was in his “office” drinking beer and hanging out with his numerous friends, neighbors, and his dog Bear.
Bruce is survived by his wife Debra; children: Justin (Madeline), Jason (Amanda), Joshua and Jessica (Jacob Pierschalla). Siblings: Brian, Beth (Leon) Bartelt, Bonnie, and Kris. Grandchildren: Billie Jo, Benjamin and grandbaby due in February, and new grandbaby Eleanor McKenzie. He is further survived by his maternal Grandmother Alice Krueger, two brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Doris Grueneberg, and his father-in-law James Krueger.
A memorial service for Bruce will be held on Friday September 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Round Barn at Willow Springs Garden. Rev. Dan Sire will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Round Barn. Visitation will also be held on Thursday September 28 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Round Barn.
