Charges filed Lincoln County Circuit Court

Garret S. Beckman, 25 of Irma-was charged November 22 with Felony Burglary to Building or Dwelling and two counts of Misdemeanor Theft of Movable Property ($2,500 or less).
According to court records, Beckman was reportedly involved in a December 2015 incident in the Town of Birch, during which forced entry was reportedly made into a residence. Copper wiring was reportedly removed from a bathroom inside the residence and a wall containing copper wiring was damaged in another room inside the residence. Beckman was later identified- while allegedly in the company of 27-year old Derek M. Diels of Merrill- attempting to sell a pair of vehicle tire rims, which reportedly matched a pair of rims discovered at the scene of the Town of Birch incident. The pair were also reportedly attempting to sell copper material, similar to that of which was removed from the residence at the Town of Birch incident.

Derek M. Diels, 27 of Merrill– was charged November 22 with Felony-Burglary to Building or Dwelling and two counts of Misdemeanor Theft of Movable Property ($2,500 or less)
According to court records, Diels was reportedly involved in a December 2015 incident in the Town of Birch, during which forced entry was reportedly made into a residence. Copper wiring was reportedly removed from a bathroom inside the residence and a wall containing copper wiring was damaged in another room inside the residence. Diels was later identified-while allegedly in the company of 27 year old Garret S. Beckman of Irma- attempting to sell a pair of vehicle tire rims, which reportedly matched a pair of rims discovered at the scene of the Town of Birch incident. The pair were also reportedly attempting to sell copper material, similar to that of which was removed from the residence at the Town of Birch incident.

Bryce E. Knipfer, 21 of Tomahawk- was charged November 22 with Felony charges of Substantial Battery-Intend to cause Bodily Harm and Aggravated Battery-Intend to Cause Bodily Harm.
According to court records, Knipfer was reportedly involved in an incident in the City of Tomahawk on September 17, during which he was reportedly involved in an altercation with several other parties. During the altercation, Knipfer reportedly struck a party twice in the face and shoved another party. As a result of the altercation, one party suffered a broken tooth and arm laceration.

Keegan R. Morren, 17 of Tomahawk– was charged November 21 with Felony-Taking and driving a Vehicle without Consent and Misdemeanor Criminal Damage to Property.
According to court records, Morren was involved in a September 2016 incident during which he reportedly removed a motorbike from a residence without the owner’s consent, then reportedly drove the bike until it’s chain broke, rendering it useless. Further investigation led to an interview with Morren on November 18, during which he reportedly admitted to removing and riding the bike. Morren reportedly admitted the chain broke on the bike, at which point the bike was deserted on a city street.

Mitch A. Mcallister, 23 of Tomahawk– was charged November 22 with a Misdemeanor charge of Resisting or Obstructing an Officer.
According to court records, Mcallister was involved in an incident in the City of Tomahawk on November 11 during which he was reportedly intoxicated and stumbling down the middle of a city street. Upon contact with officers, Mcallister reportedly refused to identify himself, became resistive with officers as well as reportedly advising officers; ‘you’re lucky I don’t have a gun or you would be dead now.’

Chloe N. Kleinschmidt, 21 of Merrill- was charged November 21 with a Misdemeanor charge of Disorderly Conduct.
According to court records, Kleinschmidt was involved in an incident in the Town of Pine River on November 19, during which she reportedly struck another party without consent and reportedly ‘tore apart’ a garage; without consent from the property owner.
