Travis W. Faber- 45 of Merrill-was charged November 11 with Felony Strangulation and Suffocation and a Misdemeanor charge of Battery.
According to court records, Faber was reportedly involved in an incident in the City of Merrill on November 11, during which he was involved in an altercation at a residence with another party. During the altercation, a struggle reportedly ensued during which he reportedly struck the victim multiple times in the face ‘with a closed fist’. The victim then attempted to leave the residence, at which point Faber held the victim down by pulling the victim’s hair and placed his other hand on the victim’s throat, which reportedly caused difficulty in breathing for the victim.
Faber was released on November 14 on $1,000 signature bond.
