Kyle J. Betlinksi, 19 of Edgar– was charged September 26 with Felony-Battery or Threat to a Law Enforcement Officer or Judge and Misdemeanor charges of Disorderly Conduct and Resisting/Obstructing an Officer.
According to court records, Betlinski was involved in an incident in the City of Merrill on September 23, during which he was reportedly intoxicated at the playground of a local elementary school.
According to court records, Betlinski was reportedly uncooperative with school staff and provided false information to Merrill officers as to his identity. Upon being taken into custody, Betlinski was reportedly uncooperative with officers and attempted to free himself from leg restraints. Upon arrival the Lincoln County Jail, Betlinski also reportedly threatened an officer.
Betlinski was released September 27 on $250 cash bond.
