John Shull, board treasurer of the Merrill Area Public Schools, has announced he will be stepping down from his role following the board’s choice of a new board member to replace Jeff Hetfeld.
In an e-mail to board president Jen Seliger, Shull stated his decision is based solely upon personal issues, primarily his decision to focus more time on his family; as well as his law practice.
“I would like to sincerely thank Mr. Shull for his outstanding service to our school district and the entire Merrill area community,” Seliger said.
“We wish Mr. Shull the very best in his future endeavors.”
Shull’s current was scheduled to end in 2019
