On Sunday at approximately 6 p.m. the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a single vehicle crash on Hwy. 51 at Cty. H involving a motorcycle. Deputies responded to the scene along with Merrill EMS.
The victim was transported to Good Samaritan Health Center in Merrill and later transferred to Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
A preliminary investigation revealed the driver of the motorcycle left the paved roadway on to the shoulder of the road where they lost control and were ejected from the motorcycle. The crash remains under investigation.
