Lots of races in Lincoln County

Voters in Lincoln County will have some choices to make on the April 7 ballot. Along with races for Merrill School Board, many townships also have contested races for their local boards.
Merrill Area Public Schools
Three seats are up for re-election on the Merrill Area Public Schools Board of Education. Incumbents are Jen Seliger, Kelly Collins and Brad Kanitz. Challenging for a seat on the board is Jeremy Ratliff.
Town of Birch
All incumbent town board members are running unopposed for re-election, including: Chair Dave Fox, Supervisors Debra Gano and Terry Lokemoen, Clerk Cynthia Lokemoen and Treasurer Marlene Fox.
Town of Bradley
All incumbent town board members are running unopposed for re-election, including: Chair Kevin Koth, Supervisor Joan Hilgendorf, Treasurer Phyllis Evans and Constable Terry Hagar.
Town of Corning
Incumbents are unopposed in the town of Corning, including Chair John Kudick, Clerk Rick Hass and Treasurer Richard Berndt. Todd Luedtke and Jeffrey Simon are running for the two supervisor positions.
Town of Harding
Incumbents are unopposed in the town of Harding, including Chair Ronald Hornischer, Supervisors Donald Graap Sr. and John Tomajcik Sr. and Clerk Kristy Ament. Carrie Hintz is running unopposed for the treasurer position.
Town of Harrison
For the town’s two supervisor seats, incumbenst Paul Schoone and Lawrence Schoone are joined on the ballot by challenger Brian Hanson. Charles Phelps is unopposed for the chair position. Incumbent Clerk Kathy Voermans and Treasurer Matt Doyle are unopposed for re-election.
Town of King
Incumbent town Clerk Andrea Michaud is being challenged by Donna Edwards. Former town Chair Bob Steigerwaldt is running for one of the two Supervisor seats, along with Andrew Tomaszewski. Terry Wiese is unopposed for the Chair position and incumbent Treasurer Julie Allen is unopposed for re-election.
Town of Merrill
Incumbent town chair Michael Matushak is being challenged by Rodney Burgener. Incumbent Supervisors Larry Simon and Kortney Pike are unopposed for re-election.  
Town of Pine River
Town chair Bill Zeitz is unopposed for re-election. Kraig Jaeger and Raymond Zastrow are challenging incumbents David Breunig and Larry Langbecker for the town’s two supervisor seats. Incumbent Clerk Amy Duley is being challenged by Amanda Gruetzmacher-Herdt.  
Town of Rock Falls
In Rock Falls, Tim Caylor is unopposed in his bid for the chair position. Chuck Schaar, George Alery and Tim Panfil are facing off for the town’s two supervisor seats. Incumbents, Clerk Judith Buch and Treasurer Cindy Puhl, are unopposed for re-election.
Town of Russell
Town Chair Norman Hodgson is being challenged by Donald Fritcher. Incumbent Supervisors Robert Kressel and David Heller are running unopposed, as are incumbents, Clerk Linda Dorgan and Treasurer Susan Fisher.
Town of Schley
Annie Meyer and Paul Hibler are facing off for the clerk position. Incumbent town Chair Rick Dorn is unopposed for re-election, as are incumbent Supervisors Bonita Pruesser and Gerald Plamann, and Treasurer Susan Podeweltz.
Town of Scott
All incumbents are unopposed for re-election, including town Chair Michael Woller, Supervisors Gerald Schmidt and Charles Reinhardt, Clerk Debbie Raymer and Treasurer Ann Krueger.
Town of Skanawan
Incumbent town Clerk Donna Stenberg is being challenged by Karen Olson.  All other incumbents are running unopposed, including Chair Benjamin Mehring, Supervisors Michael Sievert and Michael Lucas, and  Treasurer Jean Zoellner.
Town of Somo
Marlene Tunker Steen is unopposed for the town chair seat. Incumbents Supervisors Steven Isaacson and Larry Coulthurst are being challenged by Scott Melquist. Incumbent Clerk Heather Marheine and Treasurer Jody Isaacson are unopposed for re-election.
Town of Tomahawk
All incumbents are unopposed for re-election, including Chair Gary Jaecks, Supervisors Dona Jahn and Richard Guerts, Clerk Jesse Hoffman and Treasurer Violet Herman.
Town of Wilson
All incumbents are unopposed for re-election, including Chair Fran Pflum, Supervisors Phil Rausch and Adam Felser, Clerk Mary Baltich and Treasurer Dorothy Rausch.
City of Tomahawk
There are no candidates for a District 1 aldermanic post. Mike Van De Weerd is unopposed in District 2 and Mike Loka is unopposed in District 3. 
Tomahawk School Board
Four candidates are vying for two seats representing the city of Tomahawk on the Board of Education. They are incumbent Ken Schulz, joined by Cathy Schmit, Tyler Stevenson and Becky Theiler. Incumbent board member Cherie Hafeman is running unopposed to represent townships on the board.
