On Monday at approximately 8:35 a.m. the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Corning Fire Department, Hamburg Fire Department and Merrill Fire Department responded to a chimney fire that occurred at a residence on Burma Road, just south of the intersection of Kelly Creek Road in the town of Harding.
Prior to the arrival of emergency personnel, the fire had spread throughout the residence. There were no injuries as a result of the fire, but the residence did appear to be a total loss, according to a sheriff’s office report.
The Salvation Army and American Red Cross also responded to aid the family affected by this incident.
