Corleen Seefeld Oelke

Corleen Seefeld Oelke, age 91, of Wausau, formerly of the Town of Berlin, Marathon County, died Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at Sylvan Crossings, Wausau.
Corleen Seefeld Oelke was born in the Town of Scott, Lincoln County, on March 11, 1923, daughter of the late August and Angela (Zastrow) Heldt.  She attended City View and Merrill High Schools and took many courses at the Marathon County Technical School.  On October 16, 1943, she and Robert Seefeld, Jr., were united in marriage.  He preceded her in death on October 19, 1969.  On June 16, 1972, Corleen married Clarence Oelke.  He preceded her in death on December 18, 1987.  For a time, she was secretary of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Ladies Aid and Berlin & Kitchen Kookies Homemakers Clubs.  She loved babies and flowers.  Corleen has been a resident of Sylvan Crossings, Wausau, for the past six years.   
She is survived by two daughters, Sally Graap (Steve Radke) and Corleen Olmsted (Gary Bombagi), both of Wausau; four sons, Brian Seefeld, of Athens, Bruce (Sandra) Seefeld, of Merrill, Robert (Marilyn) Seefeld, of Hamburg, and Toby Seefeld, of Wausau; two step children, Marlene (John) Stubbe and Tom (Nita) Oelke, both of Wausau; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mae Boushley, of Merrill.  Corleen was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Seefeld, Jr. and Clarence Oelke; her parents, August and Angela Heldt; one sister, Ena Reger; three brothers, Orlin, August, and Karl Heldt; and her friend, Albert Radke.  
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 13, 2014, at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill.  Rev. Joel Danner will officiate.  Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Church Cemetery – Naugart, Town of Berlin, Marathon County.  Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.  The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family with arrangements.
