No injuries were reported Thursday afternoon after a train struck a semi at the railroad crossing on E. Second St.
At 3:24 pm, Merrill Police officers responded to a train verse semi crash. According to a Merrill Police Department report, the semi was parked too close to the tracks at the crossing and was struck by the train.
Traffic was stalled for some time as officers gathered information on the crash and got the train on its way again.
