The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a Tomahawk woman killed in a one-vehicle rollover Saturday afternoon.
At approximately 1:45 p.m. Saturday, the sheriff’s office received a report of a one-vehicle rollover accident on Cty. E near Greil Rd. A vehicle traveling eastbound had left the roadway and entered the ditch, striking a driveway embankment, which caused it to roll over.
The driver, identified as Susan R. Lane, 55, of Tomahawk, was trapped in the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Tomahawk Fire Department and the Lincoln County Ambulance were dispatched to the scene as well. Spirit Air was called to the scene but was called off prior to landing.
It was determined that Lane was wearing a seatbelt. The crash remains under investigation.
