Live Sustainable: Gardening 101

Are you interested on how the Three Sisters got its name?  Are you participating in TB Scott Library’s Seed Saver program and now are wondering how to plant the seeds? Or are you a beginning vegetable grower and would like to know more about gardening?
Come to the Live Sustainable meeting on May 13 at 6 p.m. in the Land Services Building, 801 N. Sales St.  Dan Marzu, UW-Extension Agricultural Educator, will discuss soil preparation, companion planting and other planting strategies, and pest management practices.  There will also be opportunities to ask questions you have about vegetable and ornamental gardening.
Any questions about the program, vegetables, or other horticulture related issues may be directed to Dan Marzu of the Lincoln County UW-Extension office at (715) 539-1078 or via e-mail at [email protected].
