The Northwoods Family Resource Center Network is offering a 10-week parenting class starting on Tuesday, March 25 and ending Tuesday, May 27. Nurturing Skills for Families is a free parenting class where you will learn about the philosophy of nurturing ourselves and our children, understanding feelings, dealing with stress, positive communication, discipline without spanking, using praise effectively, identifying family rules, and understanding developmental stages. Different topics will be covered each week. To get the most out of this class, attend as many sessions as possible.
