Leadership positions that he has held include Troop Librarian, Scribe, Patrol Leader, Assistant Patrol Leader, Order of the Arrow Troop Representative and the Northwoods Chapter Scribe. Highlights of Mitchell’s scouting years include high adventure trips to South Dakota and the 2013 National Scout Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in Beckley, West Virginia. He has camped with the troop for more than 100 nights.
His Eagle Project involved planning and leading the repair of memorial benches at Council Grounds State Park.
