OTTS Garage Youth Center has hired a part-time program director for the remainder of the 2013 year. Brandon Wade started working on July 6, and will continue to serve as Program Director at OTTS Garage through December of 2013.
Brandon is a 2009 graduate of Merrill High School, and a 2013 graduate of North Central University in Minneapolis, MN. The board of OTTS Garage expects Brandon’s past experience with OTTS Garage, as well as his familiarity with the area and local churches, will provide valuable opportunities to continue to reach out to teens in Merrill and provide a safe, constructive and engaging youth center environment. Look for new programs, activities and incentives starting for the 2013-2014 school year.
In addition, OTTS Garage is announcing an ongoing pledge drive called “Give52,” which invites teens and adults to pledge their commitment to OTTS Garage by agreeing to donate $1 a week for an entire year. This small commitment gives everyone an opportunity to be involved in the continued development and programming at OTTS Garage. More can be learned at give52.ottsgarage.org.
