The Northwoods Chapter of the Ice Age Trail Alliance will be conducting their annual Spring Wildflower Hike in the Harrison Hills with its many beautiful hills and small lakes. The hike will be held Saturday, May 18, starting at 10 a.m.
Participants are asked to bring a lunch and water to have on the trail.
From Merrill, take Highway 51 to County Road J at Irma; go East on J, five miles to Turtle Lake Road; then north three miles on Turtle Lake road, follow the Ice Age event signs. Or, from the East, take Hwy 17 to County Road J at Bloomville; go west on County Road J to Turtle Lake Road; turn North and follow the signs.
