Cindy Carlson, age 64, of Merrill, died Friday, June 22, 2012, at her home, under the care of her loving family and hospice services.
Cindy was born September 3, 1947, in St. Paul, Minnesota, daughter of the late Bill Carlson and Lois (Roettger) Carlson-Wright-Lemire. She married Clifford Malone on September 5, 1995, in Vesta, Minnesota. He survives. Cindy had been a homemaker. She enjoyed taking care of her lawn and lawn ornaments and being outdoors; attending the Harley Rally in Tomahawk; playing cards, scrabble, poker and gambling; reading; cooking; and making jewelry. Cindy especially loved and enjoyed her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Clifford Malone, Merrill; (2) sons, Robby Schwandt and Billy Dingman, both of Red Lodge, Montana; (1) stepson, Jason (Jamie) Malone, Merrill; (1) brother, George Carlson, Lindstrom, Minnesota; (4) sisters, Coleta Wright, Merrill, Patty (Rich) Holzer, Fargo, North Dakota, Penny Carlson, Little Fork, Minnesota, and Lillian Pierce of Montana; (8) grandchildren that include grandsons Drake and Kane, and granddaughters Hailey and Heather; and (2) step grandchildren, Mason and Jemma Malone. Besides her parents, Cindy is preceded in death by (2) infant siblings; (1) brother, Lee Carlson; and (1) half brother, Milton Wright.
There will be no services. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, assisted the family.
