Dawn M. Hahn

Dawn M. Hahn, 72, Wausau went to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
She was born September 7, 1939 in Merrill, daughter of the late Carl and Ann (Robl) Bloomquist. On July 20, 1957 she married Martin David Hahn at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Irma. He survives.
As a railroad man’s wife and homemaker she raised their four sons as a good Christian mother, who taught Sunday School for many years at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Weston. Occasionally she helped out working as a CNA or bank teller. Relatives were always welcome at her house or on the phone. She also babysat to give others a break in the family. She belonged to a Homemakers Club while living in the Pine River area, near Merrill.
Dawn loved her cats and growing big, beautiful houseplants on her sun porch. She enjoyed watching movies and reading books.
Survivors include her husband of almost 55 years, Martin Hahn, Wausau, her sons, Steven Hahn, New London and Randolph (Susan) Hahn, Kronenwetter, granddaughters, Melissa, Rachel and Kristina Hahn, great granddaughter, Abby Lee Hahn, Merrill, her sisters, Kristine (Gilbert) Anderson, Irma and Teresa Moore, Winter Haven, Florida and many special nieces and nephews.
Dawn was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Yvonne Treptow, and her two sons, Matthew and Daniel Hahn.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2012 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Weston. The Rev. Raymond Connor and The Rev. Gary Bratz will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, town of Pine River, Lincoln County. Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
Pallbearers will be Steven and Randolph Hahn, John, Jim and Gil Anderson and Gary Buchanan.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Weston.
