Voigt honored with Birch-Strum Fellowship

Lion Joyce Voigt of Hamburg has been awarded a Birch-Strum Fellowship by the Wisconsin Lions Foundation in recognition of her commitment to serving the people of Wisconsin.

Named for the only two presidents of the International Association of Lions Clubs from Wisconsin, Frank Birch and Clarence Strum, the fellowship is the foundation’s highest honor and is in recognition of a commitment to humanitarian service.

Joyce is a member of the Berlin-Hamburg Lions Club. She recently received a fellowship plaque and lapel pin acknowledging her dedication to the foundation’s humanitarian goals. As a Birch-Strum Fellow, Joyce becomes a part of a growing network of individuals who are committed to improving the quality of life for those less fortunate in Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Lions Foundation serves the blind and visually impaired, the deaf and hard of hearing, the cognitively disabled and children with diabetes. It is the charitable arm of the Wisconsin Lions, Lioness and Leo Clubs.
