Lawrence A. Zoellner

Lawrence A. Zoellner, age 73, of Gleason, died Wednesday, November 24, 2010, at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill.
Lawrence was born February 18, 1937, in Merrill, son of the late Arnold and Elizabeth (Lambrecht) Zoellner. He married Patricia Schram on September 5, 1959, in Gleason. She survives. Lawrence had been a machine operator at Semco in Merrill. He was the recording secretary for Local Union 2344. Lawrence had been a leader for both the Cub Scouts and Weblo’s. He was a life member of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, Gleason, and had been an Usher and Elder. Lawrence was a member of the Gleason Community Club; the Town of Russell Volunteer Fire Department; and served on the Town of Russell Board and was the township assessor. He enjoyed trips to the casino; hunting and fishing; four wheeling; and lighting fireworks and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Patricia (Schram) Zoellner of Gleason; his daughter in law, Penny Zoellner, Gleason; and his two grandchildren, Nicole and Collin Zoellner. Lawrence is preceded in death by his son, Lee Zoellner, on September 19, 2009.
The funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 29, 2010, at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, Gleason. The Rev. Steven Anderson will officiate. Burial will take place in Luther Memorial Church Cemetery, Town of Russell. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Sunday at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, and after 9:30 A.M. Monday at the church.
