worse after arrest

A 26-year old Tomahawk man already facing a criminal charge had a felony charge filed against him after an incident in a Lincoln County squad car on Wednesday night.

Just after 8 p.m. a deputy was transporting Jason S. Kelley to the Lincoln County Jail after Tomahawk Police arrested him for battery and disorderly conduct. While traveling to the jail Kelley started to spit on the deputy and worked his hand cuff’s to the front of his body, took out and lit a cigarette.

Kelley was booked in on the original charges and the deputy added the felony charge of throw/expel bodily fluids onto a public safety worker. At a bond hearing on Thursday Jason S. Kelley was released on a signature bond.
